Janine Lamy Jumping Clinics at Adds Farm 2013

Janine has been holding regular show jumping clinics in the Adds Farm arena during 2012 and we now have a new batch of dates for 2013.

janineThese have been very popular and attended by some of Janine’s regular clients and also a host of new faces from local riders from AFRA – the Ashdown Forest Riding Association.

The dates booked for 2013 are as follows :

Sunday 20th January
Sunday 24th February
Sunday 3rd March
Sunday, 14th April
Sunday 12th May
Sunday 9th June
Sunday 28th July
Sunday 25th August
Sunday 8th September

We usually hold 2 sessions. The first being 2’3”-2’6” and the second approximately 2’9” ish for more experienced riders – although Janine will always tailor the session to individual requirements.

These are great fun and we have seen our regulars really improve during the year under Janine’s careful eye. Although my own boy Trevi has become a little too full of himself with the excitement of all the horseboxes and trailers arriving at ‘his’ yard on these Sunday mornings and has taken to ‘showing off’ and cavorting about in front of his new friends. Much to my consternation so Janine has remanded us to detention and a session on our own at the end when everyone has gone where, surprise surprise, he becomes a good little pony again. Horses!

Surprisingly enough the weather has been very kind to us during Janine’s clinics so far – well, with one notable exception when unexpected heavy hailstones caused everyone to evacuate the arena and head for shelter until they stopped! However, with all the wet weather to date its been really nice to have a large arena to jump in with no flooding.

Many of our guests from our B&B staying on holiday with their horses have also participated in these clinics and thoroughly enjoyed themselves – so if your stay co-incides with a clinic date you are very welcome to join in.

New faces are always welcome at these clinics so do give it a try. Give me a call to discuss which session would suit you best. Cost £20 per rider.
